Our Story
Brad and Jen Sitton
After moving to the Waco area in 2024, we joined Harris Creek Baptist Church and began mentoring college students. We quickly discovered how much they loved escaping the city for a little time in the country, and we felt the Lord prompting us to create a space where they could rest, connect, and feel at home. That’s how Abide began. Students often gather in coffee shops to study, squeeze into apartments for life groups, and meet in friends’ backyards for worship nights. Abide offers room for all of that—with a little pickleball and basketball thrown in for good measure. From bonfires and football watch parties to game nights and quiet conversations, our hope is to offer a home away from home.
